According to Jang News, the Factory Fire had wounded a few individuals, including those like Gulistan-e-Johar Buland Iqbal, Fire Station Officer, Hawaldar Ismail, Aslam, Owais, and news cameraman Zeeshan Marghoob. All the individuals who were wounded were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
After intense firefighting for a prolonged period, teams finally managed to bring the clothes factory fire under some sort of control. Officials in charge of the Karachi Factory Fire confirmed surrounding units were damaged as well, while the critical cooling operation continues and is expected to run for another span of two to three days.
Officials added that monetary damages caused from the Karachi Factory Fire shall only become evident after the concluding report on evaluation is completed since damages are believed to be very high.
